3rd SHELL-THICK Project Meeting (February 2019)
All partners of the consortium met in ERGOLINES facilities (Trieste,Italy) the 6th and 7th February 2019 to held the third physical project meeting (the consortium usually has virtual meetings every two weeks to have a better control of the testing activities of the project). During the meeting, the partners reviewed the activities carried out in the different tasks and the main results of the field-testing of the tomographic device and planned in detail the activities to finish the project.

Installation and field-testing of a refined SHELL-THICK tomographic device (December 2018)
A new version of the tomographic device was installed at the end of the secondary cooling chamber at one of the strands of the continuous casting machine of the steel maker partner of the project.

First field-testing of a preliminary prototype of the tomographic device (February 2018)
A first version of the tomographic device was installed in one strand of the casting machine of the steel maker partner of the project for preliminary trials.

2nd SHELL-THICK Project Meeting (March 2017)
All partners of the consortium met in the Ferriere Nord facilities (Osoppo,Italy) the 21st and 22nd March 2017 to held the second physical project meeting. The consortium reviewed the activities carried out in the different tasks and the main results of the project up to date (such a laboratory prototype of the tomography system) and planned in detail the activities for the next six months of the project. The partners also visited the Ferriere Nord plant and the place for the installation of the SHELL-THICK system.

Kick-off SHELL-THICK Project Meeting (July 2016)
All partners of the consortium met in TECNALIA (Bilbao) the 18th and 19th of July 2016 to held the kick-off project meeting. The consortium reviewed the tasks/milestones/deliverables of the different WPs to detect the main critical points and plan in detail the activities for the first six months of the project.
